“The best decision my district could have made was to bring Amy on board. She made such a difference in both the functioning of our IEP team and more importantly in helping us understand and make a difference for a child with significant behavior. Amy went above and beyond to collaborate and train my team and to personally work with my student. It was very beneficial to have Amy demonstrate and provide me and my team with feedback. It is clear that Amy cares about children and the teams supporting them.” ~ Erin

“Amy stands out above the various consultants, coaches, and teammates that I have worked with in my 20 years as a Special Educator. Rather than just providing a list of recommendations, Amy takes the time to really understand individual student needs. The best part about working with Amy is that she jumps in and uses a hands-on approach to working with students and provides modeling and true coaching to school teams. Amy’s experience and expertise along with her passion and commitment are truly what made a difference for both my school team and my student with complex needs. Amy is remarkable and has my highest recommendation!” ~ Mary

“After a disastrous 1st grade we convinced the school district that J. (our much loved son with autism) and his school team needed greater support. “Miss Amy” as she will forever be known began a journey with us when our son with autism, J., was just 8 and changed the course of his life. In addition to be being in the classroom and working directly with J. from 2nd grade thru his transition to adulthood, Amy worked her magic on countless teams through the years. Offering hands on training for both J. and his school teams, providing materials, assisting in crisis management and observational data that was instrumental to J.'s success. Amy observed in classrooms and therapy sessions, helping to shape the learning to match his needs, and her talent for working with professionals and training paras is phenomenal. She attended IEP’s and helped craft J.’s specific goals and worked with both parents and teams to hold all accountable for reaching those goals. Much of J.’s success can be traced to Amy’s professionalism and ability to work with both parents and school to create an atmosphere of joint responsibility and desire to push kids as far as they can go. Amy took the vision we had for J.’s future and helped us draw the road map to get there. At 26 J. is thriving and “Miss Amy” is a huge part of that! We are forever in her debt and cannot praise her enough.” ~ Stacie
